Disney Day 7

After 738 pictures and 7 days, it was time for us to say goodbye . We all had such a great time! Our flight home did not leave until 5:40 pm so we tried to make the most of the time that remained. We had the ability to obtain boarding passes and check in our luggage for the flight at the hotel which was great (so we left our luggage with the hotel and didn't have to touch it again until we landed in Cleveland)! The hotel's transportation to the airport required us to leave the park 3.5 hours before our flight so we decided to take a cab to the airport which only required us to leave 1.5 hours before since our luggage was checked in and we could go straight to the gate. So we began the day at Epcot with lunch at Akerhaus (with all the Disney princesses). After lunch we ran back to Magic Kingdom to catch the afternoon parade. The parade was a great way to end the trip because it was how we started it on day 1 and we got to see majority of the Disney characters. Afterwards we hopped in a cab from the park and raced to the airport.

Below: Josh & Caleb went on rides while Ems & I hung out with more Disney characters. On the way to meeting up with the guys we came across a water fountain which was too much for Ems to pass up.

Left: Aurora from Sleeping Beauty Right:Ariel from Little Mermaid

Left: Jasmine from Aladdin Right: Cinderella

Left: Mulan Right: Wiping off Mulan's lipstick kiss from cheek.

Left: Japan seems to be Ems favorite country (at Epcot anyway)....Hello Kitty is one of her favorite characters and she found a doll at a toy shop in Japan. While Caleb & Josh went on a ride, Ems and I went to the Coca Cola store in the main section of Epcot to sample drinks. They have a beverage fountain where you can try 9 different drinks from around the world. Unknowingly, Ems picked Japan's drink as her favorite... it was a watermelon flavored cola. Here she is having 2nds with Hello Kitty. Right: Passed out on the cab ride to the airport. I think they were awake for all of 30 seconds in the cab.

On the flight home Emilie asked me if her birthday was over. She definitely did not want to leave. She actually started to cry and said "I don't want to go home!" when the plane started to land in Ohio. We are planning to go back to Disney for her 5th birthday (which is in 2 years) and I have a feeling she will hold us to that plan!

M-I-C! See you real soon....
