Disney Day 6

We spent our 6th day at Animal Kingdom beginning with a character breakfast at Tusker House to see Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey. (So Josh and I have a confession to make. By day 4 we were getting tired of eating meals with Disney characters so we did skip a few... but we stuck with this one because we had not yet seen Daisy) It was hard to believe we would be leaving for home the next day... we were having such a great time! After Animal Kingdom we even got to sneak in an hour at the pool (volcano slide for Caleb).

You'll notice in the video below that by day 6 Caleb was not easily impressed with birthday cupcake & celebrations. Although.. how can you blame him? This was only the 16th time in one week.....




Left: Baby Elephant whom we saw during our animal safari. Right: Our truck (which was completely open) had to stop for the Rhino to cross the road. It was crazy.. he was so close!


Left: Josh & Caleb soaked after the Kali Waterfalls ride. Caleb was extra soaked because this was his second time. Disney has a great option where if a parent has to stay behind with a child who is not tall enough for a ride, they get a special pass to go right through as soon as the first parent is off. So Caleb & I went first, then Josh & Caleb got to go right through again. Right: Ems got to play in the fountain outside the waiting area since she wasn't tall enough for the ride. Although her version of "playing" in water is to drink as much as she can. She is our little water camel. :)


Left: Showing off how wet they are Right: Can you see what is unusual about this tree? It is actually a "live" tree. This was a performer on stilts (covered in leaves from head to ground) and stood about 9 feet tall. It was incredible because she blended right in with the trees.
