Left: The pool area had a great fountain park for the kids to play in. Right:View of Cinderella's castle from the fountain park which was next to beach.
Left: Zero entry pool which edged up to beach. I loved relaxing on the beach except when I stubbed a toe on a lounger.... that sand can be tricky on the eyes. Right: Volcano slide which Caleb never left. If you zoom in on the picture you can see Josh and Caleb waiting on "deck" to go down the slide.
Left: The slide twisted around the inside of the volcano before coming down the side where you see Caleb. Right: Daddy & his little girl.
Left: As another birthday "Magical Moment", we all got to ride in the front of the monorail with the captain on the way to Magic Kingdom. Right: Ems and her favorite princess... Cinderella. We tried for 2 days to go see the Disney Princesses in Toontown but there was a 90 minute wait each time. We finally hit it during the Magic Kingdom parade and ended up only having to wait about 30 minutes. She got so excited she was jumping up and down when it was finally her turn to spend time with the princesses.
Left: Belle from Beauty and the Beast Right: Aurora from Sleeping Beauty
Left: Ems & Josh on Buzz Lightyear ride where you get to shoot targets for points. Caleb & I crushed them.... 54200 points vs 32100 points. Right: Remember how I stubbed my toe on the beach & then how Emilie got really excited about seeing the princesses and was jumping up and down ?? Well.... this is the end result. I stubbed the toe badly and when Emilie accidentally jumped on my toe in her excitement- my toe couldn't take any more and broke. Fortunately there was a First Aid center at the park and the nurse was nice enough to tape up my foot for me. You know, when Emilie scraped her knees she scored enough free ice cream for both she and Caleb to last them til their 18th birthdays. I limp out of the park with a bandaged foot pushing a stroller (Caleb & Josh went for a last ride on Splash Mountain) and I didn't even get an ice cube. I have a lot to learn from my daughter.
