We bought Emilie her first pair of Jellies tonight! I remember my first pair- it was the first summer in the states (1986) and they were purple. My mom even got me sunglasses and a new purse that day. I LOVED my Jellies and going by Emilie's reaction when she saw them at the store, I think she will too! Target had 2 options- pink and purple. I thought it was cute she first went for purple.. just like me! But knowing how much she wears pink, I thought it best to steer her toward the other pair. When Caleb saw the shoes, he informed us his friend at daycare has a pair of Jellies too. And very matter of factly he told us they were called Jellies because they you can catch Jelly fish with them. Apparently his friend with the Jellies told him this.

Jellies!
