Emilie has been loving her few days as an only child & Caleb has been loving his time at camp. Even though it has only been 1 night, it was so good to see Caleb today at the Over & Out family potluck. I was relieved to see his obvious enjoyment of camp & time with his friends. Both kids had a great time playing with friends and then we wrapped things up with an evening devotion in the beautiful outdoor auditorium.
I am so anxious to ask him about his devotions and time in fellowship with his peers. Camp was always such a spiritually renewing time for me as a child and I so wanted to know if it was the same for him. Because Caleb is still my baby... it is hard for me to remember the peer pressure & temptations a 5th grader goes through. But I took a seat back and just watched Caleb enjoy the evening. But hopefully soon...we can have some alone time to talk.
