Dini

Emilie's best friend since the age of 1 has been Dini- that green and pink stuffed dinosaur has gone everywhere with us..... Grocery stores, church, Disney World, Texas...everywhere. And she loves her blankies.... Although the favorite of those rotates now and then. This past year the favorite has been her 'butterfly' blankie.... And now that blankie goes everywhere too. Because Dini and butterfly blankie never leave Emilie's side, it is difficult to give them 'baths'.

Tonight I couldn't take the crustiness any longer and broke the news that Dini and butterfly blankie were getting baths. Emilie was completely distraught which just broke my heart.... So we made the decision to sacrifice just one of her two loves. With much agony....Emilie finally released Dini to my care but not without the presence of several fat tears rolling down her sweet round cheeks...
