Josh and Emilie have had a date night set for a few weeks now and Emilie has been so looking forward to this special day! The excitement was really building up this week... every morning the first words out of her mouth were, "How many more days til my date with Daddy?". The day FINALLY arrived and she took great care to get ready. She chose her favorite Disney Princess t-shirt (over a turtleneck because it was below 40 degrees out) and had her hair in 'curlers'.
Mojo happened to be in the car with us on the way to daycare and Emilie very seriously consoled him during the ride. She kept telling Mojo, "I'm sorry Moji but I won't see you tonight cuz I am going on a date with Daddy. But don't worry- Caleb will be with you tonight. You'll be alright, ok Moji? I'll see you after my date with Daddy."
Josh picked her up shortly after lunch from daycare to have some fun at Chuck E Cheese. Afterwards they went shopping for a dress and earings (see picture below for Emilie's choice!) and had dinner at Der Dutchman. They even stayed up until 1 AM watching movies all night!
