Josh's Birthday

We surprised Josh today with a surprise birthday party (he turns 29 on Tuesday). I didn't decide until 11 pm Friday to do this.... so when Josh woke up Saturday morning I told him he had to clean the garage that day. Saturday was a busy day and I wasn't going to be around to help- but he got it done.... and I'm glad he now knows I had a good reason for the demanding request! It was an absolutely beautiful day filled with fun & great food. For the first time since opening Quizno's 2 years ago- I actually used Quizno's to cater a personal party! It was great- everyone loved the food and it was so easy on me :) I also ordered cupcake cakes from Wal-Mart (with whipped icing) which is sooo yummy and easy for a party! I didn't have to worry about cutting cake for 40 people & also didn't have to worry about the mess of plates / forks. They usually design/decorate them in cute shapes but since Josh is a grown, mature man... it was made to look like a normal sheet cake.

Left: Josh, Brendan, Jeff, & Gary playing cornhole. Dad Postlewait has a WV Mountaineers cornhole set which he brought up. But he also borrowed an OSU Buckeyes set to bring up as well since he knew he was in Buckeye territory. So in the spirit of getting along, the sets were split so there was a Moutaineer & Buckeye at each game. Right:The Rector's brought over their awesome water slide for the kids to use. This was the hit of the party! All the adults were very jealous :)
