Caleb and Emilie love pretzel dogs (hot dogs wrapped in a pretzel) so I decided to make homemade pretzel dogs tonight. I've never made pretzels from scratch before and was nervous about how they might turn out. However the kids loved them! They even devised a plan of how we should set up a hot dog stand on our driveway every weekend. Caleb said we should sell them for $1 and charge an extra $.10 for them to be warm ( has this child heard Les Mis one too many times???). Emilie said she would make the sign because she was very good at making signs. She said her slow handwriting was very nice too! The kids decided we would become very rich!!
And even though Caleb decided we would call them Mommy's Mmm Mmm Dogs.... Emilie's sign turned out differently. Or perhaps she just didn't know how to spell Mmm Mmm??!
