Caleb & Emilie were a bit hyper at bedtime tonight and had a tough time settling down. They had been working all night on 'booby-trapping' their room and had ropes and 'traps' set up everywhere. I finally got them to settle down around 9 and went in the kitchen to work on the ham for Easter dinner. I thought they had gone down for the night and was therefore shocked when I walked into the family room to see all the pillows from the couch missing. I immediately went into the kids room and discovered this- all the pillows from the couch, bean bags, gym bag, dance bag, and anything and everything the kids could get their little hands on stacked on top of each other for what they considered to be a 'wall of protection'. I had such a hard time not laughing! I tried to quietly grab my blackberry to take this picture but unfortunately the kids saw me. With the sternest voice I could muster I told the kids to quickly put the pillows back on the couch with no talking and left the room. Caleb- who typically is annoyed with me posting anything on the blog (which he calls Facebook), sheepishly came out of the room and asked me if I would post the picture of his room on Facebook. Little stinker- he knows how to butter me up :)
