The Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, The Squeakle remade the song and has been using it for their promos.... which the kids love! The song's main chorus line is, "All the single ladies! All the single ladies!" and it has a really catchy tune.
As we were driving home tonight Emilie broke out into the song.... I caught the catchy tune of "All the Single Ladies" right away and started singing and dancing along. Even Caleb joined in and we were having our own little dance party... pretty fun until it all came to a crashing halt like a broken record. Emilie yelled out- "MOM! You're doing it wrong! Its not 'All the single ladies'! Its 'I'm a single lay'! Like laying in bed! Like this... " as she and Caleb start shouting, "I'm a single lay! I'm a single lay!". Oh my........
