Tonight the parents were invited to join their children at Awana. There are 3 sessions throughout the evening and Josh thought it would be best for me to be with Caleb for the first 2 (game time and counsel time) and go with Emilie for the 3rd. However, Caleb really wanted me to stay for his 3rd session which is when he goes through his Bible verses and book. I was so excited because I thought he really wanted to hang out with me..... but then I realized he thought the parents were allowed to say half the verses. As soon as he realized I wasn't allowed to help him with his verses he gave me the push out the door. :)
