We were so proud of Caleb today- he had his first practice last week and quickly realized he wasn't the best player on the team. This to him equals no fun. So this morning he was very resistant to going to the game. After a lengthy discussion about sticking with commitments and giving all your effort, he decided to change his attitude. He got to the game and was fully engaged- listening to the coaches, hustling after the ball.... it didn't matter if he scored 10 goals or none- we couldn't have been prouder of our son.

Caleb's First Soccer Game
While Emilie and I took care of MOW, Josh and Meemaw went to Caleb's first soccer game. Up to this point Caleb had participated in a few seasons of clinics but never played a game. He is a member of the Dynamo's this year and although not yet a star player- has picked up the art of trash talking very early. Apparently he was facing the opposing team on the mid-field pointing fingers and trash talking.
