Over Christmas I booked my flight for Texas and was scheduled to come down on 2/3... Jamie's due date is 2/4. This past week we have all been worried I wouldn't get to meet Amelia because her doctor felt she would be a week late. But lo and behold- I landed at 10:00 and received a message that Jamie's water had broken at 9:00. Drew was waiting for me at the airport and we got home about 10:35... at this point the contractions had started coming (she had been doing pregnancy yoga while waiting for us).
Jamie is trying for an all natural birth and wants the labor to be progressed as much as possible before heading to the hospital. So here she and Drew are.... almost 2 hours into labor as we get ready to head to the hospital. She is amazing!
