Mojo

Yesterday the kids and I were at Honda getting some work done on the cars when we noticed the bulletin board for the Union County Humane Society. They had posted pictures of pets up for adoption and one particular 6 week old puppy named Yang caught our eyes. Josh and I had always sworn we would never have dogs.... but the puppy was so cute! Long story short- Yang was adopted already but we found out about another cutie Mojo. I called Josh and immediately asked him to keep an open mind..... knowing I had just been to the Honda dealership he instantly thought I bought a new car. So I think he was almost relieved when I told him about a dog.

When we met Mojo today (he is a Basenji-Chihuahua mix, 1.5 years old) the kids were instantly attached. Josh and I on the other hand started sweating and wondered what we were about to get ourselves into. Josh said he was more nervous to take Mojo home then to take Emilie home from the hospital. But in just the 4 short hours with him, it is hard to imagine our days without him. The kids are having such a great time and I am appreciating my new buddy. The pound named him Mojo and we're quickly understanding where he got the name.... he seems to favor the ladies :) Emilie and I are the only ones he likes to cuddle with so far :)
