Caleb decided this week he wanted to throw his Meemaw a surprise party and told me he would trick her into coming up to Columbus by promising her a piece of candy. He promised her a piece of candy and she came up to Columbus. :) We decorated the house with streamers and Happy Birthday balloons (we couldn't find any plain balloons anywhere!). We even turned all the lights out and surprised her when she came in! She was truly surprised! To the left you can see Caleb's ingenious idea to put streamers on the ceiling fan- it was so cool when we turned the fan on!After Meemaw got to check out the party decorations, we went to Cici's for dinner and ended the evening with a slumber party..... piles of blankets & pillows in front of the tv where we watched the new Veggie Tales movie, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. We finally fell asleep a little after 1 am.
On Saturday we carved pumpkins & took a fun trip to the library. After that there wasn't much energy left to do anything else :) It was time to get caught up on sleep :)
